To NORTHEAST!

PART 10
Best of all, it's Cadillac! This is from Cadillac Mountain at Acadia National Park.
These have to be the Porcupine Islands in Frenchman Bay.
Another view from Cadillac Mountain.
Cadillac Mountain rises 1,530 feet above sea level.
Cadillac Mountain was actually the centerpiece of the park. The park was built on donated land around the mountain.
Tourists enjoy a little early 2020s vacation.
Here we start our descent from the pinnacle of this trip.
Well, I guess there's a little more to see here!
Probably descending Cadillac Summit Road.
I'm not sure of the direction here.
Down, down, down!
This is at Hulls Cove.
ME 3 prepares to exit Mount Desert Island, which forms much of the park.
US 1 uses Main Street in Ellsworth, Maine.
US 1 west of Ellsworth.
Crossing the bridge from Bucksport in a reverse of what we did earlier in the day.
Returning on the Penobscot Narrows Bridge.
A view of Bucksport from the bridge.
I think I got this rail bridge going the other way.
US 1 in Searsport. Searsport is not named for Sears stores. Funny Sears memory: One time I buyed a brand new TV at Sears, found it was not what was advertised, accidentally dropped it on concrete while putting it back in the car, returned it, and bolted out of the store before they could see the condition it was in. It was the store's fault, because I wouldn't have returned it if they hadn't tried deceiving me. Sears had already been fined over selling this TV model but didn't learn.
US 1 crosses the Passagassawakeag River. It seems like people always passa gassa on these trips!
Our mandatory Sesame Street reference!
US 1 draws this batch of photos to a close. But this trip has a whole second shoot coming up!
