I opted not to embargo this set of photos from when I scouted out sites for the 2020 roadmeet, because these sites were expected to be preserved in the ensuing months. Since these sites are late in the meet schedule, we might skip them anyway.
Curving downhill on Tower Hill Road.
Tower Hill again rocks its winding, wooded nature.
That STOP AHEAD sign has seen less ridiculous days. But so have you.
South on KY 6335 - which was KY 8 until 2018. This highlights how this road had been closed because of landslides and crumbling pavement, especially after the heavy rains and overdevelopment of recent years.
